The Commission on Baptist Heritage and Identity is part of the Baptist World Alliance, a global movement of Baptists. We study and produce resources about Baptists.

The commission seeks to clarify issues pertaining to the heritage and identity of the Baptist family, with a view to furthering the local congregation’s understanding of its place and calling in the world and in the worldwide Baptist movement.

It records the story of God’s dealings among Baptists around the world and produces materials suitable for use by Baptists and others who are interested in understanding Baptist identity.
